Privacy

You can browse and contribute without creating an account, uploading a photo, or submitting a bio. We do not publish payer names, emails, or payment details. Public totals show money credited to each side.

Payment information

Stripe hosts checkout and processes your payment details, including information it requests for receipts, fraud prevention, and legal requirements. Our site does not collect or store your full card number or security code. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to its processing: stripe.com/privacy.

Records we keep

Our private payment ledger stores the selected side, payment and charge references, amounts, refund and dispute status, timestamps, and whether the transaction used live or test mode. These records support accurate totals, customer support, and accounting. Transaction references may be linked to payer details in the operator’s Stripe dashboard. Temporary checkout records store the selected side, amount, request reference, expiration, and checkout session URL so retries can reuse the same checkout.

Security and infrastructure

We use Firebase/Google Cloud for payment records and administrator authentication, DigitalOcean for hosting, and Stripe for payments. These providers may process technical request information under their own terms. To limit abusive checkout requests, the site stores a hashed combination of IP address, request type, and time window with an expiration timestamp. We do not treat this hash as anonymous data.

Existing accounts

Data from the previous daily crown product has not been erased by this redesign. Historical profiles and payment records remain restricted to authorized operational access. If you previously created an account, contact us to request access, correction, or deletion. Some payment and accounting records may need to be retained.

Cookies and retention

This version does not add advertising trackers. Administrator sign-in uses Firebase authentication storage; Stripe checkout may use its own cookies and fraud prevention tools. We retain payment records as needed for disputes, support, accounting, and applicable obligations. Rate-limit and temporary checkout records are eligible for automatic deletion after their expiration time.
